Eligibility
The insured subject refers to e-bikes that are leased or owned by Currentdot Company, Inc., maintained and managed, pre-registered with the insurer, and rented to users who meet certain conditions.
Insurance Period
Coverage applies from the completion of the rental process to the start of the return process while using the e-bike.
※ 'Use' refers to riding, stopping, and parking. Activities unrelated to riding, stopping, or parking are not considered 'use'.
Major Claim Restrictions
Compensation is not available for abnormal rentals.
- Gross negligence accidents
- Accidents reported to investigative authorities such as drunk driving or hit-and-run
- Two or more riders
- Use with another person's phone or email account
Claim Filing
Please prepare the necessary supporting documents before filing a claim.
- Accident video (used as evidence of accident awareness during operation)
- Accident photos (used as evidence of damage during operation)
※ Please note that claims cannot be filed separately without accident evidence.
Required Documents
- Insurance claim form (insurer's form)
- Accident certificate (medical bill, death certificate, disability certificate, hospitalization certificate, prescription (dispensing fees), etc.)
※ The accident certificate must be issued by a domestic hospital or clinic as defined in Article 3 of the Medical Service Act (Medical Institutions) or a medical institution as defined by foreign medical laws.
- Identification (government-issued photo ID such as resident registration card or driver's license; if not the policyholder, include a seal certificate or signature verification certificate)
- Other documents required for receiving insurance benefits (if a non-legal heir claims death benefits, a confirmation letter from the legal heir is required)
